BLM Lifts High Desert District Fire Restrictions as Conditions Improve

Improved fire conditions across southern and central Wyoming are allowing the Bureau of Land Management to terminate Fire Prevention Order BLM-WY-D00000-2026-01, lifting Stage 1 fire restrictions on BLM-managed public lands within the High Desert District effective Sept. 2.
