The Bureau of Land Management will host a wild horse and burro placement event, offering a limited number of excess animals gathered from western rangelands, May 1-2, 2026, at the Red Horse Ranch in Cassopolis, MI.

Join us for a fun and educational day at Mustang Meadow! Come meet Freedom and Liberty, a duo who have traveled from the American West to help visitors learn about these incredible animals and the lands they come from.

The BLM will host a virtual public hearing to provide information and collect comments on the use of motorized vehicles in managing wild horses and burros. The meeting is scheduled for April 29, 2026, 12-2 p.m. MT.
